17th December - Four Corners - Christmas Party
For our December event, we had our rather traditional "4 Corners" tasting with a table at each corner of the room personned by a member or members and with two different wines for us all to sample.

After a welcome wine of Comte de Senechal champagne, we were all able to enjoy the party and social event.

The presenters and the wines they showed were:

Paul Kinnon with wines from Spain
Paul showed two different wines from the same producer, using the same grape variety. The winemaking techniques allowed the production of a white and a red wine (which were very different in flavour) from the Bobal grape -
-
Vicente Gandía Bobal Blanco 2024 (£16.93)
-
Vicente Gandía Bobal Negro 2022 (£18.38)

A good time was had by all, and this was a fitting end to the Wine Society's year.

See you again in 2026
