20th August - Tim Syrad - Wines of the Veneto
For our August event, we welcomed back Tim Syrad (of Tim Syrad Wines) to present a selection of wines from the Veneto region of Northern Italy. As an aside, did you know that the Veneto region produces more wine than the whole of Australia!

After a welcome wine of LB7 Rose Vinho Verde (Majestic mix 6) £7.50 - light, very pale rose, refreshing and fruity, we tasted a selection of Tim's wines as follows. Note that the two Soave wines and the two Valpolicella wines were tasted together to allow a "compare and contrast".
