February 2023 - Majestic Definition Selection  

 

Our tasting was a formal presentation from Majestic Wines (Basingstoke Branch) of a selection from their "Definition" range with 4 white and 4 red wines from a variety of sources around the world. The Definition range is designed to bring the world's greatest wine styles to Majestic customers and to maintain this over the years at the best possible prices.

Wines in the tasting were sourced from France (3 wines), South Africa, Spain (2 wines), USA (California), and Chile and the 29 attendees found many to enjoy, discuss and disagree over.

 

A sumptuous finger buffet was provided by Sue Rossell.

​

The March meeting will be of "Wines from Off the Beaten Track" presented by Joie de Vin.
